...When we're doing a love song yeah, you get your facking lighters out, you do this.
Back from frisbee barbeque at Yi Xuan's, where my attempt at marinating chicken went well, according to Kenneth Wee :D and I love my cab driver, who blasted me all the way from Serangoon to Choa Chu Kang in 20 minutes.
Now I shall go sit on the reclining chair, stare out the window at the sky, and continue my head-clearing. Tomorrow's countdown CIP thingy at Boon Lay CC should be a blast. Goan spend the day helping ushering people about at the countdown event, then usher in the new year with Leo. Nothing better manz. Well nearly.
The last goodnight of 2008 to you peeps. Goodnight, tonight, goodbye.
...but love is only a feeling, anyway.

In which it's CHRISTMAS TIME!!
DON'T LET THE BELLS END! :DD
Merry christmas everyone! And to add to the festive mood, here's the only xmas song you'll ever need:
Feigning joy and surprise at the gifts we despise over mulled wine with you
On the 25th day of the 12th month
The sleigh bells are in time ringing true
How we cling each Noel to that snowflakes and hope in hell
that it won’t end
Don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, just let them ring in peace.
Well the weather is cruel,
and the season of Yule warms the heart, but it still hurts.
You’ve got your career, spent the best part of last year apart and it still hurts
So that’s why I pray each and every Christmas day that it won’t end
Don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, just let them ring in peace.
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end
Dust underneath the mistletoe leaves when you’re not here,
You went away upon boxing day,
Now how the hell am I gonna make it into the New Year.
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, just let them ring in peace.
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end
Christmas time, don’t let the bells end

In which HP is thankful for the Underarmour, which otherwise would have resulted in the acquisiton of lots more cuts and scratches on various limbs
And the cold December rain is really freakingly bone-chatteringly numbing. All of us were shivering and hiding behind each other trying to avoid the freezing gusts. And it didn't help that the underarmour was some HeatGear thing, which is supposed to be great at dissipating body heat.
And I really really love the West Coast fields, which managed to stand up to the rain for hours and hours, and made all those layouts and sliding catches incredibly skiddy. Which was fun la, but very muddy and pains much.
Had dinner at Vivo's Carl's Jr, and the Portobello Mushroom Burger thing is awesome stuff.
Now I'm off to stretch everything, and nurse my headache, sore throat, skin abrasions and knee micro-cuts.
Naight.
HP is off to Malaysia from tomorrow till Wednesday night, and is glad to get away from all of you.

In which HP is satisfied in his own company.
Two more days left to this internship shindig, it there’s gonna be quite exciting. Went with one of the lawyers to the Sub Courts today, along with the other two interns, to attend a sentencing and mitigation plea session.
And tomorrow the boss is bringing us out to lunch, which means he be paying! :D Indeedy, there is such a thing as a free lunch. Then will be going with Leo, Moo and Peng Seng to Peninsular Plaza to find stuff.
The D string on my dad’s 30+ year-old guitar has snapped, which means I finally need to replace them. On Victor, my fellow intern’s advice, I think I shall go find a set of D’adarrio strings. Hence the Peninsular trip. And I shall take the opportunity to scout for the pair of Tiger Onitsuka Taichis which I’m going to buy once I receive my pay check. Homg I can’t wait!!
Meanwhile, here's my new favourite ballad from The Darkness. Couldn't find a video, so just the song on a black background. Slow, touching, soaring guitars, and the most awesome falsetto ever to grace the face of glam rock. Nothing better, honestly. And apparently some say the song’s about Master-Baking, well that makes it so much better, but only because it’s so funny when you bring yourself to think about the lyrics that way, the presence of the innuendo is amusing, even more so than whatever sick thoughts you can conjure up at the idea of Master-Baking.
Which innuendly brings me to my disc, which will have to replaced soon, on account on it soon being unable to be used in official matches, since it’s probably no longer the official weight, having so many bits scratched off already.
And Saturday training is going to be a surprise, waow! :D
